VERY LITTLE IS NEEDED TO COMPLETE THIS MACHINE IN THE WAY OF ADDITIONAL "PART'S" ALL THE ORIGINAL COMPONENT PARTS WILL RESTORE BACK TO FACTORY ORIGINAL. A FEW DETAILS OF THE ACTUAL MACHINE

FACTORY EXIT/IMPORT DATE DECEMBER 1971. FRAME NUMBER GT380-1340*. ENGINE NUMBER GT380-1345* MILEAGE 15. 64 MILES BELIEVED GENUINE. THIS IS A VERY  EARLY FACTORY EXIT EXAMPLE BUILT DECEMBER 1971 FOR 1972 MODEL YEAR GT' 380 J' MACHINE. THE IGNITION KEY IS OF THE EARLIER VARIETY WITH A FLAT TOP AND 5 DIGIT KEY NUMBER "MATCHING" LOCK SET" ON THE BIKE IS ANOTHER PLUS! . THE BIKE IS IN ORIGINAL UNRESTORED CONDITION. NOT CURRENTLY IN "RUNNING ORDER""FOR RESTORATION" MEAN'S YOU STRIP IT DOWN AND MAKE A CONCOURSE IF YOU WISH ?. XAMPLE BACK OUT OF WHAT YOU HAVE. please note" the motor at some previous stage in its life  has suffered from a "Hydraulic lock" the far right crankshaft journal has pushed a hole in the lower crankcase the broken piece is still attached to the machine and im quite CERTAIN it can be alloy welded back into place with no detriment. a "second engine" is included in the sale minus heads. arrels. istons. not seized and the crankshaft con rod's etc as well as the rest of the motor are in perfect usable order for substitute part replacement ie crankshaft and con rods the crankcases are also excellent. if it were me i would repair the original lower crankcase this is stamped with the early engine number that goes with the early frame number on this early bike. again you CANNOT use "one" substitute crankcase these are manufactured as a MATCHED "PAIR" at the factory you either repair and re-use the original crankcase lower unit or you replace "the pair" from the substitute motor it would be a shame to split the motor number for a different one. alloy welding of this piece is perfectly possible please see the pictures of the second engine included with this bike . IT WILL WELL SUIT AN ENTHUSIAST WHO WISHES TO RESTORE THIS FIRST MODEL GT' 380 MACHINE TO CONCORSE CONDITION. ALL 4 SILENCERS ARE FREE FROM MAJOR DENT DAMAGE! THERE IS A SLIGHT SCRAPE MARK UNDERNEATH THE LEFT HAND OUTER PIPE  UNDER THE RIDER FOOTREST IT WILL POLISH OUT BY A RE-CHROMER. ANOTHER PLUS. THEY REQUIRE RE-PLATING BUT NO NASTY DENTS IN ANY PIPE VERY GOOD CONDITION INDEED THEY ALL REQUIRE BAFFLE'S.   THEY ARE THE CORRECT ORIGINAL TYPE SILENCERS FOR THIS MODEL AS SUPPLIED FROM THE FACTORY WHEN THE BIKE WAS NEW. BOTH FRONT AND REAR MUDGUARDS ARE WITHOUT  NASTY DENT'S OR MARKS NO DAMAGE THAT I CAN SEE. nbsp; VERY LITTLE RUST. SURFACE ONLY THROUGHOUT THIS MACHINE ABSOLUTELY NO "MAJOR ROT". nbsp; THERE IS A SLIGHT PATCHY ONLY SURFACE COATING OF LIGHT RUST ON THE TANK INSIDES THE REST IS BRIGHT STEEL NO MAJOR DENTS OR FILLER IN THE TANK UNIT EITHER. . THIS WILL REMOVE NO PROBLEM . FUEL TAP. FUEL CAP  ARE RESTORABLE AGAIN A GOOD NEARLY COMPLETE EXAMPLE TO RESTORE. NO SEARCHING ROUND FOR MAJOR COMPONENT PARTS FOR THIS PROJECT BIKE. T IS 95% FACTORY ORIGINAL AND COMPLETE . THE ORIGINAL FACTORY FITTED COMPONENT PARTS  ARE ON THE BIKE AND PERFECTLY RESTORABLE FOR THE ENTHUSIAST. IT WILL REQUIRE A LEFT HAND SIDE PANEL THIS IS MISSING. CLOCK SET ARE THE ORIGINAL J' MODEL ONES FROM NEW NO REASON TO BELIEVE THE MILEAGE IS ANYTHING OTHER THAN SHOWN ON THE CLOCK FACE. /p>
