Suzuki GP100 classic motorcycle running barnfind

Suzuki GP100. Technically this bike is a spares or repairs. It is sold as seen. Here we have a Suzuki GP100 barnfind. It was owned by the same man for its entire lifetime until earlier this year. This bike is. I am led to believe. 100% original and has not been messed about with at all. It comes with its original topbox (usual rust on cheaper topbox chrome) and fittings. I have spent a considerable amount of time. money and effort getting this bike going. It now runs as well as it possibly could; it starts first or second kick even when cold and runs and pulls in all gears like new. The automix works perfectly and the engine tends to run with a very small amount of smoke. just as it was designed to. All electrics on this bike work including indicators. headlamp. neutral light. brake light etc. However it is currently operating without a battery in as these machines are capable of doing; a new battery is supplied however I have not attempted to charge it and have only put in the bike; therefore it has no effect at the moment. The paintwork on the tank and panels of the bike is in exceptional condition; there is a light patina as you would expect but it is in excellent condition for its age. The chrome on the bike is generally good and I have had a little go at the odd bit with some wire wool to see how it cleans up and not much will need rechroming at all. There are a couple of negatives which I will be completely honest about: the front and rear mudguards are in poor condition and in my opinion need replacing. The chain guard could do with re chroming. There is some surface rust at the bottom of the frame. nothing significant but it would be nice if it was shotblasted and re sprayed. The exhaust pipe is perhaps the most obvious problem; whilst it works and doesn't blow the chrome is gone although it is dent free! The seat could also do with some work! I have not conducted a much more in depth analysis of the bike and as such I recommend and welcome viewing so you can see the bike for yourself. I repeat that it is sold as seen. The bike is advertised elsewhere and I reserve the right to end the auction early. So. to conclude: what you are bidding for is an original and increasingly rare motorcycle which runs and drives like new which would make an extremely easy winter project to get on the road. This is not your standard eBay rubbish this bike is a genuine excellent runner with fully working electrics (as far as I'm aware) which is only going up in value.
