Description

This is a 1993 Goose SG350 that's been fitted with a 440 big bore and a Web race cam. I bought it around 12 months ago more or less as a box of bits and I've built it up to what you see here. I'd love to finish it off and keep it. but alas a Blade came along and so the little Goose needs to find a new home. It does need a bit of finishing off but it's more or less ready to go. Mechanically it's sound and it does start & run. it just needs a few finishing touches.   The Good Bits:Big bore and hot cam! This will fantastic little performer. It starts and runs well. The carb has been completely stripped. cleaned and fitted with a brand new choke valve & cable. Both front and rear brakes have been completely stripped and overhauled with new genuine Suzuki seals and EBC pads (HH front. standard rear). The brake lines are braided stainless steel front & rear - the front is a brand new HEL hose. The front brake master cylinder has been upgraded with a Nissin unit. Both tyres are very recent Bridgestone BT45's. approx 5mm left on the front and 7 on the rear. It will come with 2 additional silencers. a DEP and an Arrow. A parts manual (very rare) and wiring diagram (with English translation - you won't find this anywhere else) are included. Custom black and silver paintwork that really suits the bike. A surprising lack of corrosion for a 21 year old Suzuki. Custom rear seat cowl and the standard pillion seat. Brand new intake manifold. Brand new rear sprocket carrier bearing. Suspension is all good. forks and rear shock work as they should with no leaks. wheel and steering head bearings are fine. Brand new clutch and speedo cables. There's also a box of other spares -  different switchgear that I was going to fit. new hand grips. the original front master cylinder. some electrics and a K&N cone filter. The Not So Good Bits:Cosmetically it could do with a tidy up. The black and silver custom paintwork really suits the bike but it is a bit scratched. There are other marks as well - but overall for a 21 year old bike it's very good. It will need a new battery. The silencer is a bit battered - I bought it 2nd hand with the intention of it only being a stop gap until I could get the Arrow fitted. No pillion footpegs. The new choke knob and front brake fluid reservoir need mounting. I'm uncertain of the exact mileage. it was MOT'd in '03 with 35. 97km on the clocks. then in '05 with 2. 49km when it had an aftermarket speedo fitted. then I've refitted a set of standard clocks with 31. 43km on them. As this bike is not MOT'd or taxed you will not be able to ride it away. it is a project that needs finishing off. It will make a fantastic little bike when it's done. Forgot to say - the return throttle cable needs replacing. The throttle does snap shut nicely even with it disconnected so you could just run it without.
