Suzuki SV650 SY. 2000. 23k. MOT April 2015. Full Micron System. Good tyres

Hi and welcome. I can honestly say I?ˆ™m gutted selling this bike after spending 18 months looking for a tidy SV after fancying something a bit different to my usual ride. nbsp; an inline 4 Suzuki Bandit. Unfortunately I'm not feeling the love for the V-twin. There's nothing wrong with the bike at all. it?ˆ™s more me. I prefer the screaming howl of the 4 to the bopbopbopbop of the V. After breaking both my wrists nearly 25 years ago the riding position doesn't do me any favours either. I've only done 300 odd miles on the bike but it's enough to convince me that head down. arse up. isn't the way forward for me either.

 Anyway. to the bike.

It?ˆ™s a 2000 on a W plate with 23k miles. There?ˆ™s no nasty rattles. thumps. clangs or otherwise any signs of anything trying to escape the motor. It starts first time. goes. and stops exactly as it should.

Full Micron Exhaust system with high level End Can. The sound is wonderful and just look at those beautiful curves on the pipework. Stainless clamps as well so they won?ˆ™t seize and look like crap.

Goodridge braided hoses Front & Rear (twin line on the front) with Stainless Fittings all round.

Bridgestones Brilliant BT023s with loads of life left. If they're good enough for the Instructors at the Ron Haslam Race School they're good enough for me.

Rear seat cover colour matched to the bike

Rear hugger sprayed to match the bike.

Very recent chain & sprockets

New NGK spark plugs Front & Rear

Black Screen. Nice and strong. not your usual flimsy thing.

New fork oil 10W and new dust covers

Recent oil & filter (Motul 5100)

Rear shock linkages re-greased and spring re-sprayed

Calipers cleaned. pins copperslipped and pistons red rubber greased

New Brake fluid Front & Rear

The chrome on the Fork Stanchions is in fantastic condition

Coolant system refreshed with new 5 year antifreeze

Stainless Front exhaust studs & Stainless Nuts on Front and Back

Tail tidy with mini indicators. Mini indicators to the Front as well.

Valve clearances have only just been checked and are well within spec

Sculpted seat so you feel part of the bike instead of being perched on it

Front and rear sub-frame repainted

Loads of stainless where I could get at it

New Tank Pad on its way

 MOT till April 2015 and there's no doubt in my mind it will fly thru the next one.

Tax was up Sept 2014 and I'm not going to tax it again as the new owner will have to get their own Tax anyway under the New Vehicle Tax Rules http://www. money. co. uk/article/1010354-new-car-tax-rules-and-you. htm

   Please remember this bike is 14 years old and there is invariably going to be a few marks on the plastics and general running gear but I will say they are in very good condition considering the age. There is a Full Service History up until 20k and I've got receipts for the stuff I've bought. The wheels have only just been re-sprayed in silver. as the former dark grey wheels with the bike?ˆ™s black was bit too much for me.

The bike is also Datatagged. but not in my name.   I have the paperwork to change it and as far as I know it?ˆ™s about £20 to do so. There's 2 keys and a printed downloaded manual

I?ˆ™m open to sensible offers but I?ˆ™m not desperate to sell so I?ˆ™m quite happy to pack her away until next year if I have to or she'll go as a part-ex on the next bike which is a shame.
