This 1983 Suzuki GS650G Shaft mid weight sports tourer has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life ?ˆ“ the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike is very nearly complete missing just the side panels . The bike has obviously stood a while so the battery is flat. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS. The bike is every bit as solid as it looks here. The wheels are straight with nice clean discs. calipers & working master cylinders. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Instruments & switches look great. Fuel tank & side panels are non standard paint but tank is clean inside. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Exhaust system is original & solid. Seat base feels in very good condition throughout. Shox are damping fine. The engine is cosmetically clean ?ˆ“ When we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it a few squirts of ether it starts & runs but the carbs do need cleaning. REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT?ˆ™d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture. The American Title will do this.

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you ??55 for the 1st registration & the current fee for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
