please read all of the description to clear confusion this is a mk1 and not mk2.
welcome to my auction for my mk1 (gamma) rg250 1983
Featuring twin discs and the 1385 wheelbase.
brought 2 years ago as an unfinished project and I haven't had the time to spend on it to finish
and never will hence reason for sale.
now for the bike
its had a lot of time and money spent on the bike already. bearings. nbsp;its has nice original Suzuki exhausts
but is missing one end can. new chain. tank is very clean inside. /p>
frame has been properly powder coated gray and the wheels graffite gray. I haven't fitted tyres yet due to not making my mind up choosing a brand. Frame is GJ21A type
bike still needs work (hence dose not run)
the wiring loom needs fitting back on and pipes and cables need connecting up / tank. oil. radiator. carbs ect.
powder coat needed on some more parts and things like brake calipers to make nice. (calipers require stripping)
the forks need work as their abit pitted. maybe a re-chrome required with new seals and powder coat.
spares included
I have spare exhausts. spare clocks only showing 10. 00km. spare forks (pitted) with yokes.
spare headlights. rear carrier. and spare slab carbs + box of bits included.
parts needed to finish
tyres 16" front and 18" rear. brake pads. fork seals. new front screen. mirrors. 1x exhaust end can. battery. number plate. rear fins and lower/ middle sections of fairing.
just to add I have two matching keys that fit all 3 locks but no logbook for the bike.
log book has been mislaid and will need applying for at dvla by the new owner. (cost ??25)
this also means I do not know the bikes registration number as plate was broken in the box of spare parts
and i was going to replace it. all I can rember is it was a B reg in the box.
please see dvla website on how to do this. I belive its a v62 that's required along with the vin number on frame.
mk1/ mk2 two strokes are very collectable now these days so no silly offers
being honest this is not the best mk1 on the market but is not going cheap as must be worth start price for parts alone and cost me a lot more.
only going up in value.
