Suzuki S40 Custom

2005 Suzuki S40 was the basis for this traditional hardtail project. The 650cc single cylinder engine is the focal point in a custom frame. Gas tank. seat. battery box. headlight. and fenders are one off for the project. All standard safety features are operational including self-canceling turn signals with LED rear brake light including turn signals. dual mirrors. hydraulic front brake and GPS speedo. Other features include custom forward controls and cover to hide the starter and rear of the engine. The scratch built battery box holds the battery and all electronics. Paint is off white on the frame. with custom blended metal flake burgundy trim and blue hand painted pin striping. The single seat is cover in leather and has two adjustable springs for comfort. Stock wheels were redone in satin black. The engine was detailed in black and the aluminum engine covers polished. A few pieces of chrome were added to give a little bling and a vintage Harley fire extinguisher was installed for a little fun. The bike was an award winner at the 2013 Florida Bike Builder Invitational.
