Triumph 3TA 1959 Bathtub model

1959 Triumph 3TA Bathtub model. Tax and MOT exempt. Declared manufactured 1959 although it has lost its original Reg. Number over the years- re- registered 1982. Very good usable condition as is but could easily be made superb if you want to! The paintwork on the  STEEL bathtub and front mudguard. nacelle. fork shrouds etc is excellent- paintwork on the frame and S/Arm is not so good but acceptable. Appears to have new recent new; rear shocks. exhaust system and front wheel and spokes ( galv. ) Rear wheel is a Dunlop and the chrome is fairly good and passable condition. I have recently re-bushed the distributor so the shaft runs true for the C B points to work properly- It retains a 6 volt system which I have uprated to a modern ( Paul Goff ) regulator/rectifier which takes care of he charging ok. Also fitted a new 7. 3 A H. sealed battery. along with a new coil. The engine and frame numbers are matching. The seat appears new . ut to be honest ( which I am) I 'm not sure if it the correct one- it works just fine though! I have owned the bike for about 2 years and just bought it on a whim ( better than money in the bank). The V5c  is in my name. The front forks and brakes all work well. Starts and runs well with a quiet sounding engine. but don't  expect to break any land speed records on these 350's!!  All in all a very nice looking and usable bike which could if you want to. be improved upon. I recommend viewing before bidding so you are aware exactly what you may be bidding on- viewing in Derby area no problem with notice. I may be able to deliver if necessary within a 30 mile radius but collection preferred. **NOTE*  NO PAYPAL for payment- cash on collection or delivery- . I am setting a reserve of ?2500 and this is the absolute minium I will accept -so no silly offers please. Also . o washer counters. ime wasters. dreamers etc and no test pilots. oops!!  just to add that there is a fin missing from the cylinder head on the 'drive' side as shown in pic. 6- doesnt look too bad though. Also. fitted a new ( replica) P R  ignition/ light switch.
