The desert sled of the east. The T100c is the lighter. nimbler. on/off road cousin of the popular desert sleds. However the 500cc engine is smoother and easier to start than the 650 with the same Triumph roar. It is the model that Motorcycle Hall of Famer Bill Baird ruled the AMA National Enduro circuit. riding to seven straight Grand National Enduro Championships http://www. motorcyclemuseum. org/asp/classics/bike. asp?id=131I bought the bike last year from the previous owner who had been through the bike with a fine-tooth comb. His video describing the bike can be found here https://www. youtube. com/watch?v=J_D6Tz9Wco8. I really love it but I am training for a half Ironman and am just not finding the time to ride it enough. I hate to leave it unused in the garage. Since I bought it I have only ridden a few miles. I did replace the rear shocks with new replica halons (I still have the originals). The ride is much smoother now and there is nothing else that I would do to the bike. It is a matching numbers bike and the previous owner completely serviced the bike including cleaning out the sludge trap. new rubber. new chain. battery. tender and good working electrics. no smoke or leaks. Nothing has changed. The tires are also recent with plenty of tread.
