1971 Triumph T120RV matching numbers with a clear Title in my name.Very low production for the 1971 Model Year.
Rebuilt from the ground up including:Engine rebuilt with .020 9:1 pistons & ringsSludge trap cleaned. All seals replacedOriginal 9 bolt head rebuilt with Ampco 45 guides and Rowe Stainless valves and new valve job.Rocker boxes rebuilt with new rocker shaft seals and mushroom tappet adjusters.Original Close Ratio 5 speed transmission gone through with new seals along with new clutch plates and sprocket seal. New custom length Venhill Clutch Cable. Performs flawlessly.Frame chemically stripped and powder coated.Wheels and hubs powder coated and rebuilt with sealed bearings and Buchanan Stainless Spokes with Firestone Tires.The complete rear brake linkage has been upgraded to a 5/16" diameter Stainless actuator rod complete with stainless adjuster and clevis to reduce flex and improve brake performance.Front brake has been modified and sorted.Stainless Steel Axle Adjusters with Stainless hardware ( locknuts not on axle adjusters at the time the pictures were taken but are currently installed).Custom aluminum adjustable rear set plates.Forks have been lowered and rebuilt with "No Leak" seals and new Billet lower fork axle caps.Custom hand built 7/8 bars with Biltwell polished Whiskey Throttle and Amal Grips.Brand new Premier Amals (chokes removed) with 2 into 1 knurled cable splitter with custom made Venhill CablesCharging system sorted with NOS Lucas Stator and new Rotor along with Podronics Regulator. Charges 14+ Volts.Ignition upgraded with Pazon Sure Fire Ignition running dual 6 volt coils.Concealed Ignition and lighting switches.Bike completely re-wired with high quality PVC Cloth coated wiring.Lighting System Upgraded to sealed T-3 hi/lo beam with handlebar mounted hi/lo switch and high quality Lucas reproduction Tail light.Fiberglass seat pan from Glass from the Past reinforced with 1/8" aluminum seat base.Exhaust is Stainless Steel from the 2 into 1 collector back. The bike is still running the original 1.750 TT style head pipes (shortened). They are not perfect and I planned on building new Stainless copies but Ive never gotten around to it.Most hardware has been upgraded to turned stainless except where proprietary hardware was used from the factory or not practical to use (like the Head) so almost all the hardware you see bike is high quality Stainless.Bike runs out great. Always starts 1st or 2nd kick. The close ratio transmission makes it a blast to ride. Brakes have new pads and have been adjusted to perform great.No Smoke. No funny noises.
