Description

For your consideration. You are looking at a show quality 1972 T120V cafe racer which its 66 year owner (me) rides gently. I bought the motorcycle at the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days Auction at Mid-Ohio in 2004. At the time of purchase. it was dead stock except for the color. I preferred a cafe racer. so this is what you see:

1.    T120V. nbsp; that means it is a 5 speed.   2.    Matching numbers.    3.    Rebuilt top end of engine less than 1000 miles ago (Bottom end was perfect).   4.    New 930 Amals.   5.    New tires.   6.    Boyer ignition.   7.    Gorgeous billet alloy dash with oil pressure gauge (yes amber idiot light works. too).   8.    Custom Corbin Seat built on original steel seat pan.   9.   Clubman Racing rearsets.   10.   New gel battery.   11.   Tommaselli clip-ons with removable risers.   12. Original Lucas headlight.   13.   T140 tank which I used because it does not have the chrome seam which would interfere with the look of the stripes.   14.   Notice that the engine. carbs and side covers remain stock.

I removed the turn signals. but left all wiring and switches in place.   I rode this bike to the National Triumph Rally in Oley. PA and it trophied in the Umberslade class behind two (perhaps trailered?) stock-correct bikes.   Yes. it runs as good as it looks.   One of the photos is of the clocks with engine running (notice tach and oil pressure gauge).

Good luck bidding on this exceptional machine.   Questions welcomed.
