EXCEPTIONAL 1968 TRIUMPH T120R - BONNEVILLE - FULLY RESTORED. MATCHING NUMBERS! This is VIN# T120RDU83840 a very fine example requiring nothing built to ride and enjoy with all the modern acceptable updates. It was restored by European Motorcycles in Redmond Washington starting in 2011 and finished in 2013. It is without doubt one of the very best years of Bonneville production - possibly the most desirable year. it is a stunning machine - more than $25. 00 has been invested in the purchase and restoration of this motorcycle. nbsp;nothing has been overlooked and it is absolutely correct in every detail - oh. except the speedometer and tachometer - since it was built to ride I wanted units that worked - the originals will be included with the sale. This T120R Bonneville is a numbers matching motorbike. has undergone a frame-off restoration and is absolutely correct. 1968 was the first year the Bonneville had the double brake shoe on the front end. enhanced braking is very nice if you've ridden these early Triumph's. The motorcycle originally came from the Dakota's - a barn find. When I got it it was in pretty bad shape but had all the elements for a correct and fine restoration - everything was there - the motorbike was completely disassembled. inspected and anything that needed to be replaced. re-machined. rebuilt or re-chromed was done. European Motorcycles is a top restorer and has many years experience building and maintaining these great early Triumph's. All receipts and records will transfer to the new owner. The motorbike starts easily. runs. shifts. rides and stops great. It has proper oil pressure and volume. electrical charging. everything works as it should. If you are a serious buyer please contact me and I will provide you with details of exactly what was done on the motorcycle - what I can say is that nothing was left undone. and it is absolutely correct in every detail - oh. except for the speedometer and tachometer - I can plan on several people pointing that out over the course of this auction - everything else is as it should be and truly finished well. This motorcycle has been restored to be a rider although at a high degree - it rides quite different form the 1960 I have up for sale. although it is very is easy to ride. handles sportingly and can be ridden with confidence - and it should be ridden not just sit in a heated and insulated garage like it has since it was finished last year - I've put a total of 85 miles on it since I finished it. I hold a clear WA title and - as normally happens - the authenticity of such a machine is questioned. on inspection of European Motorcycles it was verified there has been no tampering with the frame and engine numbers - this is the real thing. if you've been looking for a late classic Triumph Bonneville. this is arguably one of the finest available anywhere in the world.
