TRIUMPH SPRINT 900 EXECUTIVE 1998 RACING GREEN + TRIUMPH PANNIERS - QUICK SALE

Offering my TRIUMPH SPRINT 900 EXECUTIVE 1998 including the TRIUMPH Colour matched panniers -

for a bargain price for quick sale - as space needed.  If no takers then. I will make the effort to get it MOT'd in a couple of months and re -advertise at a proper price. Have recently moved house and have some building work to get done to make more room for toys !

Thought I would put this on now- 3rd Jan. as there was clearly some interest in the blue one which finished on Ebay today - bid up to ?1330 but not making reserve with a buy now of ?1600. Well my one is good value if you want to save some money and get your own MOT.  

This is probably one of the more practical versions of the 900 range. with a comfortable ride. good luggage carrying ability - the speed triple fetches a lot more money. but for less bike ! 

Good points-:

* Official Triumph hard luggage (colour coded ) not in pics but will follow soon.  

* Mileage 36. 90 miles.

* Previous owner kept it for 12 years. and looked after it.

* Has only done 150 miles or so in the last 18 months since I bought it.

* I changed engine oil and filter 100 miles ago - only used expensive Mobil 1 Racing 4T as recommended  by Triumph.

* Lots of receipts and service history + all MOT's proving mileage.

* Serviced at ( mileage ) 0506. 2782. 4039. 9099. 12266. 21062. 26120. 32645. 35942.

* New front tyre Bridgestone BT21 at 35. 17 miles ( Rear about a third worn BT21 )

* New front brake pads 2 sets fitted at 35. 17 miles.  

* New Varta battery 6 months ago.

* New chain and sprocket set fitted at 32. 45 miles.  

Bad points -:

Not much really. nbsp;as it is in pretty good order. but being picky ----------

* As is common on these. the black paint on the engine casings has lifted in a couple of places. so needs re-finishing to make right again. All I have done temporarily is remove the flaking in 2 areas. and cleaned off the alloy. applied a coat of a clear primer converter as a seal for protection against alloy corrosion.

* There is a minor scratch on one of the hard luggage panniers. but is not very noticeable. Other photos will be supplied soon.

* No MOT ( I don't ride in the Winter months and won't be starting until at least March ( done that. been there. and don't do any more now I am an old git with arthritis).

For collection from near to King's Lynn. Norfolk. There is a possibility that I could transport to you in my ramped van - BUT ONLY after you have come here. seen the bike and done the deal - paid in cash. AND you don't live more than 100 miles away.

I would only charge ?1 per mile one way to do this. Do not ask for me to deliver any further than this. nor to bring it for you to look at first. The bike is SORN. there are no test rides unless it is paid for first and you have proper insurance. ( You crash it - you've bought it policy applies. )
