Vespa GS160 1964

Hi. his is a sale of my 1964 Italian Vespa GS160 Mk. 2It is a Swedish market GS therefore was AC (non-battery) from the factory which was imported and bought by a friend of mine. He restored it and then emigrated. The scooter was rust free and in brilliant condition under the paint. so no welding other than the brazing up of a few ;accessory' holes. The scooter has all its original bodywork apart from the headset which is a repro item (but the original is included. I bought the scooter last year. put a T5 engine in (slots straight in with zero modifications needed) and registered it. I have the original engine from the scooter which is for sale by negotiation in its original and complete state (by this i mean you could put the original engine back without having to source any expensive and hard to find parts). The T5 engine has been rebuilt and has completed about 20 miles (new bearings. seals. crank and rings) It has a Polini air filter so will need jetting to suit. There are new cables and tyres and tubes (Michelin Airstop)The scooter is Taxed (free historic!) and MOT'd (in August).
