YAMAHA XJ900-F 1990 CHARCOAL METALLIC SHAFT DRIVE

1990 YAMAHA XJ900F SHAFT DRIVEI have decided to sell my XJ900FI have run out of space due to the purchase of another bike so need to get rid. Newly issued MOT and does not expire until 26th January 2016. There were no Advisories on the MOT either. Currently on SORN. It is had quite a bit of mechanical work done to it. all carried out by a Motorcycle Mot Service & repair shop local to me. I have receipts in excess of ?500. It had a New front tyre fitted last MOT and I have done less than 200 miles since that was fitted. In the 3 years I have owned the bike it has had the Carburettors Ultra Sonic cleaned. Set up with new diaphragms. balanced and set up on the bike. The front & rear brake calipers were overhauled with new Pistons & seals. including bleed nipples and rubbers. New Brake linings. Shaft drive oil changed. Clutch cable replaced. Oil. Air & Fuel filters recently changed. New Spark Plugs. New Yuasa Battery 7 months ago which has always been kept on an Optimiser. This Motorbike requires nothing doing to it mechanically. It would make an ideal commuter bike. It is great on fuel returning 40-50 mpg. It is & has always been an ultra reliable machine and starts on the button every time. I have owned more than 6 of this model bike and absolutely love them. Due to this. the bike will include some spares with the sale. I have 2 x keys the V5 which is in my name and all the locks including the fuel cap match. Please appreciate it is approaching 25 years old and is not a new motorcycle. The Sale is Cash on collection only.
