1989 YAMAHA RD350 YPVS F2 RD 350

For sale I have my 1989 Yamaha RD350 ypvs F2. This is a Japanese built bike and not one of the later Brazilian models. It has matching frame and engine numbers.  I've owned this bike since 2010. I've only covered 1700 miles in this time hence the sale! As you can see in the photographs this bike is far from mint. The paint work is really pretty poor. although it looks not bad from a distance. The engine runs well however. and has only covered 22800 miles. It was fitted with new front brake pads and chain and sprockets for the MOT last year. The fork seals will need replaced before the MOT which is due in March. The front tyre has a slow puncture. All of the fairing panels are genuine plastic Yamaha items (not cheap fibreglass replacements) although most of the panels will require small repairs to be mint. It is fitted with micron pipes which sound great. but are pitted and have a few scuffs! I have a spare set of forks and wheels which will be available if the reserve price is met. The bike would make an excellent basis for a project or. if your not too bothered about looks. a great fun bike to ride as is! Just ask if you have any more questions or wish to come and view. The bike is a long way off perfect and. as is sometimes the way with these things. the photographs may not show things perfectly.  You are bidding to buy not to haggle so please come and view the bike if you are seriously interested.  Also. I'm still insured on the bike and it is taxed until the end of the month so would be happy to deliver within 30 or so miles of Brechin!
