1996 YAMAHA YZF1000R THUNDERACE

Sale of my thunderace due to family commitments. I am the second owner. I purchased the bike localy in 2005 with only 17. 00 miles. since then I have covered 10. 00 reliable miles. present mileage 28. 00. and its Never let me down. (lots of old MOT cert. to prove mileage)The bike is has a full years MOT from 9th of MarchThe bike has always been garage or shed stored and is in excellent condition because of this. The bike has had regular services. oil and filters etc. Tyres are very good with the rear covered less than 100 miles. Rear disk was fitted last year on the MOT. this too has covered less than 150 miles. since last mot. Rear pads didn't get fitted but I will include them in the sale. Chain and sprockets only a couple of years old. still with plenty of life in them. Front fork oil seals also replaced a couple of years ago. The bike is fitted with a front double bubble screen. red. Also a non standard scorpion exhaust can. standard can will be included in sale for MOT's etc. I also have a swinging arm which I was going to polish and fit. this can also go with the bike. Also there is a standard fit luggage rack. and i will also throw in the small top box and quick release mounting plate. and original  factory tool kit + wallet. see last pic. The overall condition is very good for its age but has some cracking / repair to the left fairing around and from the fixing point.  Also the rear wheel hugger could do with replacing as it has scuffs and rub marks. see pictures.  These can be purchased for less than ?100. Small dent in the tank about the size of a 5P not really noticeable. also see pic. Overall look is very good. NEW  battery fitted 20/2 /15. I have tried to be as honest as i can. in my opinion the issues raised are minor considering the age of the bike and the overall look is very good.  Exup valve works fine although a bit rattly but in my mind that means free and working. Even in todays climate it is still a very fast and powerful bike with the strong 1002cc engine not the 998cc. ALL VIEWINGS WELCOME. by arrangement. AFTER PURCHASE PLEASE PAY ?100 DEPOSIT BY PAYPAL.
