Very rare YZF-1000 "Thunderace"

Yes, his is a high-mileage bike, ut it's in surprisingly good condition and is suitable for daily use. I'm the original owner, ave cared for this bike since day-1 and have a full service history on file. This is my second bike in a row to go well over 100k miles, o I know how to care for them and the results speak for themselves.
There's nothing really wrong with the bike beyond what you'd expect for the miles, .g., ome compression loss and the related oil usage and lumpy idle. About three years ago when I installed the new exhaust, had the bike dyno-tuned and the result was 126 horsepower, o it's still a strong engine.
Lots of extras included:

• Automatic chain oiler (Scottoiler)
• Oxford tail bag
• Sport-touring windscreen
• Steel-braided brake/clutch lines
• K&N air filter
• Factory jet ket for dyno tune
• D&D exhaust
• tank bra
• new Metzler front tire

At its most recent service, he mechanic broke the mounting tabs on the black console panel surrounding the instruments (see photo). I ordered a new panel from Yamaha and it is included with the sale, hough you have to install it.
To answer the question of why I'm selling it: When I bought the bike, told myself I'd ride it for 150k miles. 147k is close enough, o I bought a new bike to take me though the next 15 years or so.
I'm in the Hollywood area. You can pick up the bike locally or arrange to have it shipped at your expense. I don't offer test rides but I'll demo ride it for you. You must pay using certified funds and I'll release the bike after I'm guaranteed by my bank the funds have cleared. Lastly, lease don't ask me to end the auction early. I won't.
