1973 Yamaha TX 750

Description

This is my cousin's Yamaha TX 750. He's owned it for something like 30 years, nd it was his first source of transportation, o he has some particularly fond memories of it. That said, is garage has more motorcycles than space and he as asked me to sell it for him.
My cousin hasn't run this bike for about 15 years. It ran fine, ith the exception that there were some shifting difficulties. He suspected the shifting plate was bent, hich was making shifting into 2nd more difficult. He had intended to resolve the issue, ut never did, etting a new motorcycle instead. In addition, know that the electric starter had problems, nd one of the mirrors had stripped threads.
Aside from that, 'm sure there are standard deferred maintenance issues. E.g., he brakes aren't responsive and no doubt have air in the lines.
Minor issues aside, t was running great before he parked it. It's simply a heavier bike than he likes to run, nd his nostalgia aside, e prefers dirt biking with his KTM.
He also has another 73' TX 750 engine he was rebuilding, hat was never reassembled. In other words, uite a few parts are available, nd I can dig them out if the buyer is interested.
I listed this on craigslist for $600, nd got a response an hour later, o I think I underpriced. I’m posting this before I head to bed, o if you’re interested, et me know soon.

(Due to multiple inquires over the last 24 hours, realize that I underpriced. After consulting with my cousin, e decided we need to increase the price to some closer to it's actual value. Suggestions welcome).
