1974 Yamaha RD350

Very nice 1974 Yamaha RD350 Survivor. This bike has been in storage since 1988 and is now being sold only to pare down a large collection due to the owners health issues. The bike starts easy, uns wel, and is a real blast to ride. It's very quick for its size and handles and brakes excellent. I have been riding a 1970 Triumph Tiger lately and the RD350 will easily run with it,these bikes are truly giant killers. Transmission and clutch work flawlessly.I have cleaned the carbs, eplaced plug, eplaced batter, replaced airfilter and done a general clean up. I started the bike on a premix of leaded fuel and Yamalube R at 30 to 1 because I was unsure if the automatic Yamalube system was functioning. It seems to be, ut, he new owner should confirm that the automatic Yamalube system is functioning correctly, r, liminate it(and run premix) before running straight gasoline. The bike isn't perfect, t has a dent in the right side of the gas tank, dent in the front fender, ome rust, aint is fading slightly,along with normal wear and tear that would be expected on a bike of this vintage. Overall it is a pretty well preserved and unmolested example. If you have ever wanted one this is a excellent opportunity. The bike has a nice set of Magura low handlebars which are a nice improvement over stock. Otherwise the bike is bone stock with only 10,383 original miles. Mileage may change as I keep finding excuses to ride this bike around the neighborhood. Please carefully examine the Photos and ask questions if any before bidding.
