This is a 1991 Yamaha TZ250B 3YL, irst year for the V-Twin and the first of the last generation of Yamaha TZ's. Highly collectible and sure to increase in value, hate to let it go! I bought this motorcycle in 2002 and have done mostly track days and a few club races since then. Several years ago, went through the bike, reshened up the motor and rode it a few times.
The bike is beautiful and has the following upgrades, chell Crank (just beautiful), hlins rear Shock, hlins Steering Damper, ast Iron Front Discs Full Floating, agnesium Clutch Cover, nd probably some other items I forgot to mention.
I last rode the bike several years ago and low sided it due to cold tires (stupid mistake), onsequently it does not come with a fairing and the left clip on and left foot rest is bent. I do have an older, k fairing that I will include with the bike. This bike is loads of fun to ride, andles like a true GP bike and is really fast. It has been sitting in my shop since that time.
While the motor was fresh, would go through the bike before riding it again. Always a good idea with Yamaha TZ's. As you can see from the photos, he bike also comes with a bunch of useful spares, ncluding:
