I have a very low mileage 2002 Yamaha Warrior that has the full dealer installed Speedstar Stage 4 kit in it. It has 12,800 miles and is in excellent condition. It has the hard to find Speedstar Warrior fairing (one year only in red) and a nice solo seat (Bonus! - I will also include the stock double seat!) all in excellent condition. I also installed a new Vance and Hines Pro Pipe, new lower chin fairing, he Yamaha 5" risers and 35" drag bars, new Power Commander 5 fuel management system, ew air filters on the stacks, ew tire up front and rear tire is near new with maybe 400 miles on it. It also has new 1 3/4" forward controls. All new parts were installed within the last 150 miles. Warrior Speedstar Stage IV Competition Kit
For Closed-course race application only. This kit increases torque and horsepower throughout the rpm range, ith 30% increase in peak horsepower. Stage IV Kit includes:
•Competition Velocity Stack Set: Billet 2-piece includes pre-filters for limited air filtration
•Competition Air Intake Scoop: Polished aluminum air scoop to direct cool fresh air underneath the fuel tank to the Velocity Stacks
•Competition Stage IV ECU: Offers an optimized fuel/ignition map to work with the higher compression ratio, ncreased intake airflow, nd exhaust system
•Competition High-Flow Fuel Injector Set: Designed to work with high lift camshaft and increased airflow. Increased fuel-injecting capacity by high-flow injectors (40% increase over stock). Fuel pressure regulator decreases fuel pressure by 20% from stock.
•Competition High-Compression Forged Piston Set: 10.2:1 forged pistons are designed to work with high-lift camshafts. Only 18 grams heavier than stock, o no crank re-balancing is necessary. Special rings are included to work with chrome bore. Includes pins and clips
•Competition Clutch Spring: Offers increased clutch capacity. Reduces clutch slippage and resultant heat built-up under heavy use. The spring rate is 20% stiffer than the stock spring. Designed to handle increased power output from Stage IV kit.
•Competition Valve Spring Set: Designed to accommodate higher lift camshafts up to 9.3mm lift and up to 5850 rpm. Seat pressure is increased by 20% over stock.
•Competition Camshaft Set:Includes both front and rear cams, hich use the stock decompression mechanism for easy starting yet high performance. Offers increased mid-range and top-end power from 3200 rpm up. Produces peak horsepower around 5500 rpm. Must use Competition Valve Springs with these camshaftsLift @ valve Intake/Exhaust: 9.3mm/9.3mm Duration @0.050" Intake/Exhaust: 241°/235° Timing @0.050" lift Open/Close Intake = 12.0° BTDC/49.0° ABDC Exhaust = 36.0° BBDC/19.0° ATDC NOTE: Theoretical results based on rocker arm ratio of 1.4:1. Valve train components, peration temperature, nd tolerance stack-up will affect actual lifts.
•Competition Gasket Kit Complete sit of gaskets necessary for installation of Stage IV kit. -Competition Exhaust system is a 2-2 design using single-wall polished stainless steel construction. 2” head pipes with a special routing are used for highly efficient exhaust flow and maximum power.
This Stage 4 kit was installed by the dealer when it went in for some recall work in 2003. The tank has 2 hard to see small dents but the stock paint is excellent otherwise. This thing is a low mileage rare Speeedstar package that you would beextremely hard pressed to find another like it. Adult owned and never raced. It runs fantastic and flat out hauls ass. Also included is all stock internal parts pre Stage 4, ars, irbox, set of mini floor boards, bike cover, extra blank keys to be cut, nd a new set of 3" forward controls with hardware. No test drives without cash in hand. This bike surprises a lot of people with it's brutish quickness not to mention it is also nothing short of an amazing riding experience.
