1973 Yamaha RT 360 - Vintage AHRMA

Description

This bike looks and runs great! The Yamaha 360’s were known as “ankle breakers”, ut this one starts easily with 2-3 kicks and idles smoothly upon warm up.

It has had an amateur restoration performed on it, o include a rebuilt motor (bearings, eals, iston & rings), owder coated frame & fenders, epainted gas & oil tanks (with new graphics), recovered seat (non-factory material & pattern), ew levers, nd new tires. The chain & sprockets are in good condition. The lights work. The tachometer and speedometer both work as expected.

The motorcycle is registered and titled in my name and includes the original key. The VIN numbers match on the engine and frame. The odometer shows 2460 miles.

As you might expect of a used enduro that’s now 43 years old, here are a couple of imperfections that I need to mention: There are a few dings in the fenders that weren’t removed prior to powder coating; one of the “lifting brackets” on the frame behind the seat was re-welded; the 6V battery will need to be replaced (bike runs fine as is); dunno what the luggage rack is from – it was on the bike. The after-market expansion chamber is not included – the stock exhaust pipe with the “360” emblem will be on it. The oil injector is not hooked up, o mixed gas is required.

I also have two mostly complete, ut roached 1970 Yamaha RT1 360s as well, lus a 1970 DT1 250 in better condition if the buyer wants to make a package deal.

I have decided to sell this classic to downsize and focus on other projects. Please ask any questions you might have now! If you win the auction, ay for the bike, nd come to pick it up and find that my description was not accurate, hen I will refund your money (minus PayPal/Ebay fees). However, f you win it, ay for it and don't have it inspected before it is picked up by the shipper......the deal is final! There is no warranty expressed or implied.
