2003 Yamaha YZF-R1 R1 Black

 Just purchased this bike a week ago. After a couple hundred miles I realized the ergos of this bike do not work well for my size (I'm 6'4"). Just looking to get back about what I put into the bike. The bike has about 9. 00 miles and might go up as I am still riding it a bit. For the time I have had with it. it has run and rode really well. Very powerful bike. Only issues needed to be addressed are the rear brakes need new calipers (you could find a used entire rear brake system on ebay for about $30) and blinkers need to be wired. I purchased mirrors with integrated turn signals that look cool. but I don't know how to wire them so that the blinkers work. Similarly. I have a license plate bracket on the back that has blinker bulbs that attach to the sides of it. they would need to be wired also. I would do it but I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to electrical. The headlights and tail lights both work great. One minor inconvenience is you need to wiggle the key a bit for ignition to turn - but once you get used to it it only takes a second or two.
