Yamaha Tenere XT660Z, Touratech panniers and parts. 8000 miles,

This is my Yamaha Tenere XT660Z. I haven?ˆ™t  truthfully owned it for very long as it was purchased for a friend to join me on a recent trip. Unfortunately he was unable to make it and now I must sell the bike.  

I am open to offers. so instead of watching just send me a message!

What to say. this bike has near enough every part you would put on it. already on it. I previously purchased it from somebody who bought it from new and sent it to Touratech in Wales.   

He then spent in excess of 3K in extras to make the bike what it is today. Its history with him was only motorway miles and occasionally going up the odd kerb or grassy verge! 

On purchase I noticed that the handling was a little off. and from all the motorway miles the head bearings had worn. I have since replaced these (adding plenty of suitable grease) and purchased another pair for the future.  

 It is best I make a list of all the additional parts! 

 Two sets of tyres. Michelin TCK 80?ˆ™s and Metzler Tourance. both great for off road with the tourance good for road work.  

Near new Givi top box which has a back rest. i was sceptical at first with this. nbsp;proved to be good for helmets!!!

Touratech Zega Pro panniers and rack. these are 32 ltrs and best part of a £1000 new. They both have mounts for a fuel tank or water on the rear of the boxes.  

Touratech sump guard (really tough).  

Touratech Side stand switch guard.  

Touratech front sprocket guard.  

Touratech Rectifier guard.  

Touratech engine crash bars.  

Touratech Handguards and spoiler extensions (really keep the wind off).  

Touratech Sat nav mount. No sat nav though! 

Touratech mesh light guard.  

Touratech Fog lights 

Touratech high front mudguard in black.  

Touratech Heal wear plates.  

Touratech Rear brake reseviour cover 

Touratech Side stand plate extension (prob the most useful bit of kit ever) 

Touratech chain guard 

Sw Motech centre stand (handy for tyre changes) 

Spare Head Bearings 

Auxillary power socket.  

Spare front drive sprocket. one tooth down. great for off road riding.   

Bits you don?ˆ™t see: HID light conversion. Brand new bulb plus one spare. Very bright at night.  

Front suspension has been upgraded by Touratech and is amazing at soaking up the bumps.

I have also extended the footpegs to grip your boots better when off road. I do not tend to ride with the rubber insert. The rubber insert does still fit.   

Crash bars. I  have almost completed a custom set of one off crash bars for this bike. When I found out my friend was unable to come I lost interest in finishing them. Made from strong steel tube and bent to form. These are very very strong and would support the bike if dropped. I designed them to fit the strongest parts of the bike. The idea was to powder coat and fit. 99% finished!!      

As you can see this bike is amazing for the money. nbsp; I have taken it to pieces. regreased everything. cleaned and sealed the electrics.   The bike was recently serviced at 6805 miles. and now currently has 8050 on the clock.   

Currently no Mot but i will get one before it is sold.

Tax: Due to new laws you will have to buy the tax for the bike as it cannot be carried over.

All service stamps by Yamaha are in the book along with a multitude of reciepts etc.
