1977 Yamaha DT 400D Enduro

I picked this beauty up this summer from a friend of mine who is a Yamaha enthusiast that wanted to scale back on the amount of projects he had going. The ins and outs out the bike. It starts on the 1st-2nd kick almost every time. idols smooth and runs good through the gears. I didn't get to ride it on the road this summer other than around the neighborhood because it was missing a battery which runs the turn signals and mirrors . I installed a new battery and OEM rubber strap as well as mirrors. Now the turn signal lights are working and its ready to ride on the street other than its missing a horn. The horn wiring is intact and functioning. There are several new and used horns for sale on E-Bay around $20-30. It has a new seat cover. he tank has some rust spots. dents on the right side and paint chips but it has had a liquid liner installed on the interior to prevent rust. It has a good quality fuel filter and new K&N air filter that I just serviced. The helmet and front tree locks work nice. The decorative washers on the rear fender and the tool kit are missing but other that that everything else is intact and original as far as I can tell. The frame appears to have been repainted at some point as well. I was told from the previous owner the motor has been rebuilt at some point too and that why it runs like it does at 11K mikes.
