Yamaha RD350A 1973

For sale a smart well presented Yamaha RD350A from 1973. This bike had been refurbished prior to my ownership. he usually rusted and damaged parts like exhausts and mudguards have all been replaced with new old stock items. The bike starts first kick nearly every time. have recently fitted carb repair kits but it willneed setting up a bit better than i am able as the bike runs a bit fluffy high up in the rev range. Everything  on the bike works. t doesn't have a current MOT but i am confident it will passone easily.  The mileage could very well be true (27500k) but it doesn't really matter as i have mentionedit has been completely rebuilt. These bikes were sold in UK with a 5 speed box. he facility for the 6th was already in place. n this bike it now operates the 6 gears. Mechanically the motor is pretty quiet for an aircooled two stroke and doesn't smoke like an old steam train. The paint work looks quite fresh the only criticism i have is the positioning of the tank badges. A deposit of £200 via Pay Pal/transfer will be required at auction end with the cash/transfer balance being paid upon/prior to collection.
