1996 Yamaha Virago XV535

I bought this Virago in September 2009 from a man near Pittsburg. PA. I drove it home to Hagerstown. MD. about a four hour ride. My father-in-law followed me home in my SUV.   To justify the cost of the bike. I drove it to work once or twice each week to save on gas expenses. It's been a good bike; never let me down. In October of 2009 I had a Yamaha-trained tech change the fork oil. drive-shaft oil. air filter. fuel filter. engine oil & filter. and spark plugs. I changed the engine oil and filter myself twice each year after that. It passed Maryland inspection and was ridden regularly until August 2012. when I bought an XV1100. Since then it has sat covered in my garage. I take it out once a month to ride around my neighborhood. but not out on the main roads. If you are looking for a bargain. this bike is for you. I use Star-Brite/Star-Tron in the fuel to keep it fresh. but I think the carburetors will need a dose of cleaner. The tires are okay. but I doubt that they would pass state inspection.   The winning bid is for the motorcycle only as it is shown in the photos.  In photo #1 there is a post-it flag noting a two-inch scratch on the top exhaust pipe near the end of the pipe. In photo #2 there is a flag noting the bent left rear turn-signal.  The deposit is due via PayPal within 48 hours; the balance is due in cash at time of pick up. This bike is for sale in the U. S.
