1969 Yamaha R3 Cafe

This bike is a 1969 Yamaha R3 Grand Prix. I purchased this bike a couple of years ago. It has been completely torn down and rebuilt into a Caf?©. The frame was stripped hooped and repainted. I didn't do anything to the engine except cleaned it. The front end is a donor off a 1973 Suzuki GT380. I made custom bearing cups to adapt it to the frame. The caliper. master cylinder. and forks were rebuilt. All of the aluminum parts were buffed. The rear brake arm. kicker. and shifter has been rechromed. I made custom rear splash pan. electrical pan. and gage bracket out of sheet aluminum. The electrical pan under the back of the seat holds a lithium battery and regulator. I finished it off with a tomato red and black paint job. Now the things that I did not get to. All the cables need replaced. They work good. but have cracks in the casings. The rear tire is old & has cracks in it. the Tach is in bad shape. but works. The horn and turn signals are not on it. I have a horn. but it need a switch.
