Yamaha XS 750 D (1977) Restored / Classic (Not: CB GS RD Z KH)

Yamaha XS 750 D 1977 - voted sports bike of the year 1977. Engine no. 1J7-005141  /  Frame no. 1J7-008784. Imported in August 1990.

I recently purchased this wonderfully restored bike with the intention of producing a caf?� racer. But on closer inspection and second thoughts decided the bike is too clean to dismantle. so am putting up for sale so I can purchase a new project. Since buying I have had the carbs sonic cleaned at a cost of £50. new battery. flasher relay and fuel tap seals. The bike starts and runs beautifully loads of smooth torque and handles superbly. Although the tyres are new they will need replacing for the MOT.

Triple cylinder / shaft drive / fitted oil pressure gauge with oil cooler / New Oxon Shocks / New Motad 3-1 exhaust system / New seat / RAASK Laverda Jota handlebars - fully adjustable

Powder coated: Frame / swing arm / drive train / engine. Refurbished wheels / Polished forks with new seals. Engine fully re-built with no cam chain rattles. Oil pressure is between 55 and 60 lb when running after warmed up. I have never owned a cleaner bike. All electrics work and after a pre-inspection only requires tyres for the MOT. Last taxed Sept 2010.
