Yamaha Fazer FZS 600 - S Reg (1999) - Silver

For sale my FZS Fazer 600. I've had it for a few years now and sadly it has to go due to an upgrade of bike and no space for two.

It works well and has lots of good points but also as expected from a bike of it's age has some bad points too.

These bikes were 97Bhp new and have awesome brakes - the new versions have only 84Bhp and the brakes are nowhere near as good.

Good points -

Runs well. nbsp;has stainless steel downpipes fitted as the originals were prone to rusting. new-ish tyres (plenty of life in them). fairly new chain and sprockets (less than 500 miles old). new battery at the start of October. nbsp;both original keys and heated grips. Might also have some new rear brake pads if I can find where they went after moving house.

Bad Points (see photos) -

Some scuffs on paintwork (have been touched up) and cracks in fairing around indicators (due to previous owner dropping it on both sides from standstill). one small crack in the tail fairing. some scuffs on the mirrors. The bike doesn't always start first time but always starts (might need someone with a knowledge of electrics to look into it).

I've tried to detail all the issues with the bike as far as I know them. Like I said it would be great as a winter bike due to cosmetic issues.

I would recommend having a look at the bike to see what she is like.

Remember you are bidding to buy not look/test ride. no test rides without proof of insurance to ride other bikes and the full cash asking price in my hand. Sorry but I have to be careful these days.
