I bought this bike on ebay a few months ago for £900. 00 and discovered it had no compression on one cylinder. I have stripped the head off and found a piece out of one of the exhaust valves. It just needs a new one and a head gasket and rebuilding. The only other fault is a hole in one of the carbuerttor float bowls. This had been repaired previously using a liquid metal type of filler. This can be done again or a used bowl purchased. It rode fine prior to stripping except for the obvious lack of power due to firing on only 3 of its 4 cylinders. It would make a great winter project for an enthusiast to rebuild. I will also throw in a new Haynes Manual for the bike. Sadly. I just do not have the time to spend on it. The pictures are of the bike prior to me stripping it down. It is currently in my garage in various pieces. The fairing. tank. seat. cylinder head and exhasuts are off as is the rear wheel. The front wheel is still intact on the bike. The bike is stood on its centre stand with the engine still in the frame. The buyer would need a van or trailer to collect it. CASH on Collection Only.
