1973 YAMAHA RD350 Street Legal 2-Stroke !!!

FULL ALBUM OF PICTURES HERE: http://imgur. com/a/P4Hk2#0 Details: 1973 Yamaha RD350 (Restored) First owner restored over a few years. then sold it to the second owner in 2006. which then I bought earlier this year. 1st Owner did these things: Complete tear down New top end Expansion chambers Boost Tube K&N air filter with 2 into1 boot Steering damper (adjustable) Powder coated fenders Modern Nissin front master cylinder Period correct very rare Asahi-Denso gas gauge (works surprisingly well) Seat Cover 2nd Owner did these things : Top end rebuild (1. 00 miles on it) New Progressive fork springs New Progressive rear shocks New K&N intake filter New Wiseco Pistons New throttle cables New fuel filters and lines A bunch of powder coated stuff Modern O-ring chain Front and rear sprockets (Around stock gearing) CRG mirror Cleaned up the wiring Biltwell grips Battery tender lead wired in 3rd Owner (me) did these things: -Tarozzi rear sets + black pre-bent kickstarter (stock pegs. kickstarter. and brackets included). Tarozzi riser fully adjustable clip ons also included. HVCcycle - Rear Sets -MZB Digital/Electronic Ignition 12V/150W Complete Charging System. best one on the market (Ignition Coils. Ignition Wires. Alternator (Rotor and Stator with the new design timing pickup). Regulator/Rectifier) MZB CDI Electronic Igntion for Yamaha RD250/350/400/R5/DS7 (Street Version) | (Economy Cycle) -New Plugs (NHK B7HS - for MZB ignition heat range) -Candlepower Halogen Headlight (55/60W) - Super bright! (Similar to modern bikes now) -Brand new Avon Roadrider Tires front and rear (100F/110R. but the chain guard is already ready for a 120 rear if you'd like) -Modern battery (though you don't need it. bike will start first kick even if it's drained completely. no need to bump start) -Cleaned up wiring a bit more. wired in some more fuses. installed a toggle ignition kill switch Blinkers and misc. stock parts are included in a box. along with manuals. compression tool. spare bar end mirrors. spare front brake pads. and a Central Tools air-cool moto-engine metric specific dial gauge to adjust timing (cost $180. but is a really nice gauge). The MZB rotor does not need adjustment like points. but in case you want to run a Zeel dynamic unit or would like to mess around (currently 1. 9mm BTDC) Also included: spare bar end mirrors. spare front brake pads Oil injection is flawless so no pre-mixing required. Always kept on a battery tender when I'm not riding it daily. Covered in a parking garage when it rains. Highway is no problem. it will hit 85 mph and then some. Two kicks to start max. 99. 9% is a first kick start. Some choke for colder weather starts and no issue. Recent vid of kickstart: 1973 Yamaha RD350 Kickstart - YouTube Flaws: Small leak on left cylinder (compression is 118L/120R cold) but runs like a beast and two dings where the clip on brackets used to be (mostly hidden angles near the front top of the tank). normal patina for a 40+ year old bike. but tank is clean no real rust anywhere (maybe normal dabs here and there). Wheel finish (painted) perimeter got chewed up during tire install. more so the rear than front. Ding/scuffscratchs on left expansion chamber where the kickstand rests on up position. Scratch on left case where original shifter used to line up. I would like to find this bike a good home as I have spent a lot of time and money on it.   I'll be riding it everyday until it sells!
