YAMAHA TX500 1970

Hi you are bidding on my Yamaha TX500 originally bought by me in May last year and it has been imported from the States

I got a dating certificate at the time and it dates the model as a 1970 although it was registered for the first time in the States in 1973.

I got an MOT straight away and then decided to do a few bits to it before I rode it again.

It has had one new silencer (still available)

Tank headlight side panels have all been repainted it has had a new seat cover and foam . electronic ignition fitted carbs overhauled  new moto batt (yellow) battery  and a service carried out by aspire classics at a cost of ??1300

Due to work commitments and other projects I haven't got round to using it  so have decided sell as I have too many bikes and not enough time

Currently sorned with no MOT ( I will if I get time get one on it) it would make a great bike for someone looking to ride it or restore it further.

Chrome rims and fork legs in very good condition it just needs a good clean to make it a really useable 70. classic

Just a few additional bits of information following a couple of calls The bike whilst it does not have an mot it has done less than 100 miles since the last one so there is no reason to expect it to failI will if I get time get an MOT before collection but if I don't I will reduce the cost by the cost of an MOTThe bike has a low reserve and is not for sale anywhere else
