1985 Yamaha V-Max 1200 Muscle Bike

As much as I hate to sell it. up for bid is a 1985 Yamaha V-MAX 1200. This is a 1 owner bike and only 6. 94 original miles!!! This is a very rare find. The bike is in good shape. I would give it (6. 5 out of 10). The Bad: It definitly needs to have carbs cleaned out. It runs and rides but it boggs out and backfires a bit. The front brake lever is a bit stiff but she still stops just fine. Also the chrome has some pitting and the paint has some imperfections. The Good: Just put a brand new battery on and tires are pretty good too. Has drag bars and wind deflector too. Also attached is a cool 80's fuzz buster radar detector that still works. The seats are in excellent condition as well. Again I really hate to get rid of it but I don't have the time to work on the carbs and I need to make room in the garage. It would be a shame to let this bike sit. It would make a great little winter project. I have a genuine Yamaha service manual too. It has step by step directions on how to clean or re build the carbs. If you don't know anything about this bike please do your research and you'll see what this bike is capable of.
