Description

Up for auction I have a nice 1992 Yamaha YSR50 with a clean CT Title. This thing is the ultamate street legal minibike and so much fun to ride. It's also the last year of production for the YSR50. Technically it's 49cc so it's considered a scooter that does not need to be registered or insured in many states. It's kick start only but starts easily. It runs. shifts and stops great. It has fresh engine oil. brake fluid and a new chain. The air box was modified for more flow and sports new UNI filters. The bike has a very rare Toomey Racing expansion chamber and silencer and the carb was jetted up to handle the extra flow. The autolube pump and tank where removed so you must premix the gas and 2stroke oil. I built a custom battery tray that also holds a small 2stroke oil bottle for fillups at the pump. The removed pump and tank are included. The paint was inspired by the late Norifumi Abe's #9 Team Yamaha/Marlboro Moto GP TZR500. All the Marlboro. amaha and Castrol logos are painted on and the rest are stickers. Included is a shark nose race upper fairing (no headlight cutout) painted to match. I don't have the windshield for the race upper but it's still available through Air-Tech who made it. They also made the cool front fender.  In the white areas of the upper. lower and tailsection there is a slight pink tint in some places.  The bike comes with a new battery and a 6v tender with a quick disconnect. The mirrors are included but not installed. The headlight. taillight. brake light and dash lights all work as they should but the horn does not. The turn signals are missing but all the wiring with bullet connectors are there should you want to hook some up.   At some point before I got it the lock cylinder in the gas cap was popped and must be turned with a flat screwdriver. Other than that the cap functions fine. A black anodized keyless billet aluminum one can be had for about $30 here on EBay. There is a very small rip in the corner of the but pad.  This is a mini sportbike with a seat hight of  about 26" and rolls on 12" tires. The last photo is of my 10 year old wearing my helmet and leather. for scale
