1974 Yamaha RD350 Vintage Japanese 2 Stroke Motorcycle Brat Cafe RD Moto GP

This is a 1974 Yamaha RD350 in the Original Ruby Red. Numbers Matching. VIN. Frame. & Engine #: 351212423. This bike is in excellent running & driving condition. Original Airbox of has been removed with a K&N filter installed along with proper jetting done to the carburetors. Original air filter box will be included with sale. It has newer counter & final drive sprockets and final drive chain. It also has newer ignition contacts with condensers. A newer interstate battery. Front & Rear newer Avon Roadrider Tyres with Heavy Duty Tubes. The forks were rebuilt with new oil seals. dust covers. & hard to find NOS chrome covers from a Yamaha R5. Original British "euro" handlebars were installed. A much better Honda CB750 brake master cylinder was installed. The front brake caliper was rebuilt with new pistons & piston seals along with new EBC brake pads. New rear brake shoes were installed. Custom new upholstery on the seat done by the talented Nate Van Hofwegen at Vinyl-Lux. Original Ruby Red paint on the tank & side covers. Aftermarket chrome headlight stays. I will include the original ruby red headlight stays with the sale. Original gauges & cluster were removed for a custom made gauge holder for running only the tachometer or speedometer. The speedometer & tachometer are included with the sale. Both. throttle & clutch control cables were lubed & installed. I rebuilt fuel tap with all new oem seals. The carburetors were rebuilt when the jetting was done. New intake "Y"-boot. Running only Klotz oil for the time I've owned her for the past 5 years. No major damage. only minor wear and tear from the years of use of the past 40 years. There's a few paint chips and scratches. The fuel tank has a minor ding on the left side that I can have taken out before shipping happens if the buyer chooses that service for a small fee. This is a extremely well tuned machine that I have cared & loved for greatly during my time of ownership. During the warmer months I DO ride her on a daily basis at least ten miles one way on the interstate & stop & go traffic. She will do long and short rides easily in comfort.
