1964 Matchless G3 500cc

1964 Matchless G3 with 500cc cylinder.

Case SN#G3/43089 Frame SN# A88228. I have owned this bike for some years. I have been told that factory would sometimes use a lower unit G3 case and complete a bike with G18 cylinder and head. Bike has been rebuilt with one new valve, round/lapped valves, aint job, eat, ires, hain, ight and ignition switch. Points ignition replaced with Pazon Sure-Fire (solid state) electronic unit for easy starting. Bike starts and runs with a sound transmission. Has original speedometer but needs cable.
