2007 APRILIA RS 125 11 KW BLACK. PROJECT

Hi and welcome to my auction of my Aprilia RS125 2007 project. I brought this bike a few years a go now from my friends daughter just to tinker with but have now decided to sell as I have no time to complete.

The bike has only one lady owner on the log book who had a small slide only a few months after buying from new in 2007 with only 1. 00 miles on the clock. Damage was only panel damage but it was left outside under a cover until I brought it from her but the weather had taken its toll. So the hole bike has been stripped to clean. polish or replace damage parts. List as follows of what has been brought or done.

Brand new genuine Aprilia. Top fairing including left and right fairing wind baffles. Left and right fairing lowers.

Puig dark smoke double bubble screen (top brand and very expensive ?70)

New rear shock

New chain. (sprockets are fine old chain had rusted)

New battery.

New genuine Aprilia handle bars(only one was bent but they changed the finish so brought pair to match)

All brackets powder coated including rear sub frame.

New swing arm taken from new bike with 0 mils. (Old one needed too much polishing work. )

All plastics including headlight. indicators are there and perfect. As you would expect from a bike with only 1. 00 miles on the clock.

Front forks have been stripped and seals replaced then forks have been filled with Motul fully synthetic fork oil.

Engine work done.

Total strip down. All casing shot blasted using glass beads to bring the casing back to as new condition.

All bearings upgraded from plastic cages to all metal. Only the best bearings used NTN I think but have receipts.

All gear box bearings replaced(only because I lost originals somewhere. 9 of them ?7 each)

All oil seals replaced.

New piston kit fitted.

New cylinder head nuts(?10 for 4 nuts!!)

All moving parts examined including the plastic gears showed no sign of wear what so ever. This engine is like new now and should be treated as such so requires running in.

This is the 11kw model and is totally standard so hasn't been messed about with to increase to full power model. Which can be done easily if you wish.

Exhaust system has been shot blasted and repainted. End can still needs cleaning as you can see.

The frame had corrosion marks so has been rubbed back using the correct flapper wheels. Next stage is to polish using a proper polishing kit which is new and will be included in the sale. Simply attaches to a normal drill.

As it stands the bike is about 90% finished before reassembly can start. I cant say every small nut and bolt is there but all major parts are. If in doubt please ask.

Looking to sell or will consider a PX but must be minimum 600cc like CBR. SXR. X6R. You get the idea. Cash either way. Will also consider damaged bike. Im a mature rider normally riding litre class bikes so anything below 600 wont interest me.

I have full paper work. all keys and more receipts than Sainsbury's for all the parts I've brought. There's plenty of cleaned bagged parts I haven't shown simply because its all packed away but its all there. There is still some work to be done like the foot rest hanger's to clean up but as I say its 90% there. If in doubt please ask.  

Note there has been no insurance claim made on this bike so will come up 100% clean on any HPI check

What im asking is what I've spent including buying the bike so no silly offers please.

Few things extra to mention.

The bike comes with all original sales documents/literature/owners manaual from the Aprilia dealer.

Full service history with 1 stamp in the book showing the first 600 miles service done.

Checked on the engine bearing receipts. There KOYO C3 rated. Not NTN like I said above. But as I say a top brand as used by the manufacture.
