1983 BMW R100RS

I bought the bike last year with thoughts of my first BMW. a 1982 R100 I bought in 1983 and rode and maintained for 22 years and 160. 00 miles and to replace my current K1200s. I do not need 2 bikes but cannot decide which to sell since I like both so I am listing both and the bike with the best offer will be sold. The bike came with new burgundy metallic paint (about a pint of paint comes with the bike) and with a UV resistant clear coat plus powder-coated wheels. The miles on the odometer appear correct based on wear of rubber parts. The bike is mechanically great. no smoke. leaks. shifts as well a 1983 should. When I got it there were irritants such as a poor tune up. weak brakes and sticky throttle. I did a complete tune up including head torque. valves. carburetor balance including fuel level adjustment. I rebuilt the rear brake with a Brambo rear master cylinder rebuild kit. fixed the throttle problem and replaced ALL the fluids. Things that were replaced include: - all brake pads- new #312 throttle carburetor springs- new throttle cable - new throttle cam- new throttle inner grip with gears- better headlight bulb (PIAA XTREME WHITE PLUS H4)- Battery Yuasa- all instrument cluster bulbs- valve cover and float bowel gaskets- oil filter The pictures tell the story of the appearance and accessories that are on the bike. I washed the bike but did not wax or put silicon on the plastic or rubber parts to give a temporary shine. Any spotting is due to our well water which is very hard. The only thing that I can think of that needs attention is the light for voltmeter which is missing the bulb mount. Not sure how well the voltmeter is working but appears to register the right voltage. All other electrics work including the clock that keeps better time than my watch. The only things missing are the tool kit and cover for the underseat box. Ask questions and if there are common concerns I will post them.
