BSA C15 Trials / Scrambles Classic

This beautiful and practical classic is now for sale as I am moving house and will not have the space to store or time to ride the bike as deserved. A classic unit single. this BSA has been built as a true trials machine with low ratio box. high compression performance Triumph piston and classic trials fittings. Also makes an ideal everyday classic with a 12v electrics conversion. lighting kit and smaller rear sprocket. Alloy fenders. trials bars. race-number plates and a custom alloy bashplate complete the trials / scrambles package. Trials position foot pegs make for comfortable and balanced standing position and a new single seat means the bike is comfortable between stages and on the road (I often use the bike to commute to work on the winding back roads :-)Brand new 12v electrics (including generator) and  E-approved lighting kit (removable for competition use) for year round practicality. Scrambles type sprocket (52T) for use on local roads and green lanes where low trials ratios are just too slow. Previous owner had the whole crank assembly changed in November 2013 and also had the cylinder honed and fitted new piston rings with a high compression Triumph piston (size 69 std). Spare crank assembly with needle roller bearing big end supplied as spare. Triumph Tiger Cub hubs front and rear and beautiful Borrani Italian rims. 21" front. 18" rear. Pirelli tyres in good condition all round with plenty of tread. Custom exhaust and silencer with bespoke "BSA" heat shield - sounds amazing!Small in-line oil cooler reduces overheating at high speed and prevents oil degredation (trials oil tank smaller than standard and warms up quickly). Recent carb clean (AMAL 735) with brand new needle and pilot jet improves running all-round. Free Road Tax. cheap insurance (??100 fully comp!) and MOT until May 2015. I have a selection of spares including full crank assembly with roller-bearing big end which will be included in the sale. I am not a classic bike expert but have enjoyed riding and maintaining this lovely bike (basic maintenance is pretty easy) and hope that it finds a new home where it can really be appreciated.
