This trick race bike started as a standard 848 engine that was stripped and converted to a single cylinder by removing the vertical cylinder and the crank was modified and rebalanced. Cylinder and piston were increased to a 1098 making the single cylinder displacement increased to about 520cc. No head work was done and it uses standard 848 early cams but. by adding later 848 cams and porting. horsepower could rise between 4-8hp.
