Ducati 999S Superstock Race Bike

Ducati 999S 2005 Superstock Race Bike.

Originally built by Pro Twins for BSB Superstock class and subsequently bought by Eddie in 2009 for personal use. and since purchase. the bike has only competed in 3 Scottish Championship rounds. The bike has had a complete nut and bolt strip down and refresh September 2014.

This 999S is race ready or would make an excellent tool for track day use. 154 RWHP. loads of upgrade race parts. comes with spare wheels with wets plus front and rear paddock stands. The bike could also very easily be put back on the road with daytime MOT as the V5C logbook is present.

Chassis:

Marchesini forged wheels with Pirelli slicks.

Stock wheels with race wet tyres and brake discs.

Ohlins forks with 25mm Penske Piston kit. Oil and seals replaced Sept ‘14 using K-Tech seals and Motul oil.

Ohlins / K-Tech rear shock.

Ohlins steering damper.

Race front sub-frame.

Brembo brake system with braided lines. brakes system serviced Sept ‘14 with new Brembo race pads fitted. Motul RBF660 race brake fluid used.

Titax Levers.

Lightened wiring loom. immobiliser and speedometer removed. (Speedometer function could be reinstated with addition of OEM wheel speed sensor).

New Yuasa Battery.

Power Commander 3 USB.

Renthal Superbike chain and sprockets.

Fresh body work painted by Bike Paints.

Ducati Performance Fuel Filler Cap.

All bearings checked. adjusted. lubricated or replaced as required. Sept ’14.

Engine:

Engine refreshed and blueprinted September ’14 inc. replacement cases.

Close ratio gear box.

Single compression ring Corse pistons.

Titanium Conrods.

Lightweight flywheel.

Full 57mm Termignoni system.

New timing belts fitted Sept ’14.

Slipper clutch. Clutch serviced and new pack fitted Sept ’14. Carbon cover.

Fuel filter replaced Sept ’14. Tank cleaned.

Coolant replaced Sept ’14. Motul MoCool race approved coolant additive.

High flow race air filter.
