  Stunning 2002 Ducati 999   absolutely stunning condition A rare opportunity to acquire a very low mileage. exceptionally well looked after and almost unmarked example of this awesome motorcycle Purchased from Paul Dedman Motorcycle while at the TT in 2013 Book shows pre delivery certificate 12 2002 to S&S motors Castletown Isle of Man 1st service at S&S Motors again may 2003 shortly after which time the bike was stored as part of a collection Paul Dedman Motorcycles acquired the bike in Oct 2012 from the collectorThe bike was serviced at 3932 miles and the belts were changed with new type belts which should last a minimum of 3 years I acquired the bike from Paul Dedman motorcycles during my visit to the TT in May 2013  The bike has just been serviced ready for this year with Shell Ultra 4T fully synthetic oil. filter and new iridium plugs. The DP air filters were removed. cleaned and oiled. The belts were inspected at the same tme and are absolutely fine. I would inspect at the end of this year with a view to renewing early next year. A 2nd Michelin Pilot sport 2CT rear was fitted at the end of last year (I've not even worn the chicken strips) The front 2CT was fitted at the same time as the tyre I replaced. The Full 57mm asymmetric Termi with DP chip and DP air filters was fitted from new"2003 - 2004 Ducati 999 European modelTermignoni  Asymmetric stainless steel exhaust kit with ECU and high flow air filters - Ducati Performance Part No 96436303B" Since bringing the bike home (alongside my GSXR1000) the bike has been tastefully modified with all the original parts retained given the originality of the bike at purchase. The modifications include Power Commander III currently running the map specifically for the asymmetric Termi kit inc DP ECU and DP Air filters Ducati Corse single seat hump conversion Bespoke tail tidy LED rear lights with integral indicators Rear spindle sliders Swing arm bolt cover Front R&G spindle sliders Carbon fiber exhaust guard Carbon Fiber vented clutch cover Oberon Spring kit Red visible clutch basket stubby levers optimate cable fitted This bike really is in absolutely fantastic condition with genuine low mileage. I'll be sad to see it go. I should point out that there are a few age related marks. The worst being the condition of the rear spring. I was planning on removing the shock and getting it re powder coated but never got round to it. The brake and clutch reservoir caps are slightly untidy compared to the rest of the bike. again I was going to replace but never got round to it. Finally. the right side clock button has become detached. I have the button but have kept it off the bike so I don't lose it.   The bike can be viewed near Didcot approx 10 miles south of Oxford Sensible offers only please very very close to the asking price There may be a cheaper bike out there but I'm not giving this away.   I can guarantee that this bike will be in much better condition on close inspection. Included are all the books and paperwork. tools. codecard. 2 keys the RED keyMountains of photos including photo's from the shop and bringing it back from IOM. It will go on once with the modifications. If it doesn't sell for any reason. I'll remove them all and put it back to standard If you like the mods. act fast!
