2001 Ducati Project Bike

Okay. this is a special project child that won't be right for everyone but in the right hands will be an amazing track bike. starter race bike or a street legal hooligan machine. This bike started life as a 2001 Ducati Monster 900 ie. I turned it into a race bike and snapped the original Monster frame. It is now in a 93(ish) SS frame and swing arm. It also has a set of 748 front forks on it. The engine has a Nichols lightened flywheel and a local Ducati mechanic put in high compression pistons and some other goodies upping the HP to closer to 90 than the stock mid 80's. I had a custom under seat two into one exhaust built for it and it is still in great shape. I have a racing SS seat but also a custom built metal seat pan and tail that you can see in the pic. Very nice little cafe touch to it. This bike could be a huge amount of fun around town with a little love. I have an extra SS tank. a ton spare bits and pieces as well some of the stock bits. The wiring harness has been hacked up but I do have the stock handlbar wiring sets for lights etc. I have two bike stands- front and rear made by pitbull. they are very nice. i have a front fairing bracket- race style so it doesn't hold a headlight. This bike was not running well the last time I started it- it ran but it needs some work. I have been meaning to get this bike back on the street for three years but just haven't found the time and I have a lot of other priorities so it has to go.
