2001 Ducati 748 E Biposto

- We acquired this fabulous Ducati in June 2014 when we purchased it directly from the Gentleman who had bought it new. We intended to keep it but a change of circumstances requires that it now needs to find a new home. It is also a bit too modern and fast for us!- The original sales invoice on file shows that on December 1st 2001 this Ducati 748 was supplied new by the authorised Ducati dealership Laguna Motorcycles of Maidstone in Kent to a Maidstone based Gentleman. - The expired MOT certificates and maintenance invoices on file show that the motorcycle enjoyed regular exercise until 2007 when the April issued MOT certificate recorded 8. 00 miles. After that just a few hundred miles a year were covered. and between the 2012 and 2013 MOT certificates. only 54 miles were ridden. - This lack of use and a house move eventually prompted the Gentleman to sell the motorcycle and we were delighted to be able to purchase it from him. - In July 2014 we had the excellent Ducati authorised dealership WM Snell of Alton. Hampshire. carry out a full inspection. service. and timing belt change. - GK51-KWR is a rare example of Ducati?ˆ™s fantastic 748 motorcycle in that it has been enjoyed by just one owner (prior to us). it is in completely standard and original condition. and it retains all of its original invoices and documentation. When we acquired it. the Gentleman assured us that it has never had any accidents and has never seen use on a racing track.
