Rebuild Sportster Project

This bike was under water during Katrina. Engine crankcase was not drained so water and silt stayed in lower housings. The rest was dry once water receded and is o k for the most part. Carb and starter will need to be replaced. Crankshaft. cyls. . pistons. cams etc can be reused. Gas tank has a hole rusted through. Trans gears are mostly bad. Bike only has 221 miles and has been stored since 2005 - too good to junk. Would make a good project for engine off of wreck or has a lot of good parts. I would consider rebuilding this one myself if I could find another wreck. Please contact me with any questions before purchase. selling as is. Thank you.
