1972 Harley Davidson

I'm trying to answer all questions here. but PLEASE Feel free to ask here or other methods. New York State did NOT require titles back then. This vehicle has has a LEGAL registration. It's transferable in New York State AND ANY OTHER STATE with only the owners signature from me to you. I am not familiar with other states. but I can only assume. once you own the vehicle. you would register it according to their laws. Thanks and hope this helps with any doubt about registering this Hog. If you're not sure. call your local State Department of Vehicles. they have different names in different states. They can answer ALL your registration questions. In NYS. it's called DMV (Department of motor vehicles). CALL YOUR LOCAL STATE place and ask them any other question I can't answer for you. REGISTRATION: New York registration is 1972 for this vehicle. THIS IS A CUSTOM BUILDThis is a 72 Frame. Welded and powder coated. Frame (on every rebuild) has been maintained. checked and welded at the stress points. (old Hogs vibrate in case one doesn't know). Drives STRAIGHT! Swing arm regular paint and low mileage on the bearings. Rear shocks replaced with Progressive. Front end is a '63 rebuilt forks. This build was never crashed. All parts purchased separately for assembly. piece by piece. Many parts original. others after market china crap. Sound metal on fenders. Needs Paint if you wanna go there. Engine is a '63 first year of the timken bearing. Recently rebuilt and balanced. Exhaust and intake guides Cast pistons 20 over Hastings rings Fuel valve Sifton Lifter kit BT timing gear Connecting rod assembly Rocker Arm o-rings Timken Bearing set Crank Bearings Crane inner cam bearing Medium lift collars Lo-profile Collars Valve keeper set Exhaust and intake valves Balanced flywheel S&S Oil pump drive kit. Pump Kit Pinion oil pump Uppers are '78 Shovels. New transmission case Kick Start 4 speed gear set Mainshaft Countershaft low and second bushings Main and center shift forks Start clutch gear Starter crank gear Inner primary Mount kit Rewired and new switch. Drums front and back. New Primary and drive chains. New Speedometer and cable. New Tanks painted with POR 15. Old Deltron on front and rear fenders. Front Fender has some bondo. (I have to double check that bondo. it may be only the paint peeling. no big deal either way. No rust) New tires. Dual exhaustCheap chrome has rust but only cosmetic.
