1962 Panhead FL Duo Glide

1962 Panhead FL Duo Glide with full professional restoration....museum quality.

This bike is 90% original with the same engine, rame, ront endand transmission that it came off the

assembly line with in 1962.

The documented restoration has many photos of the step by step process undertaken to achieve this

high quality rebuild.... no expense was spared and original parts were removed and carefully restored

or replaced with the highest quality parts available.

The paint was done by craftsmen who do restorations for the Blakhawk museum and is the closest to oem as possible.

The engine and transmission were rebuilt by a professional Harley Mechanic with over 40 years experience in the field.

Thepainstakingrestoration took 5 years and the bike now runs and looks perfect, etter than new in fact.

It is all stock with the exception of a few upgrades to improve performance and reliability.

New S&S super e carb with custom air cleaner bracket so original air cleaner can be used.

Upgraded to 12 volt alternator system instead of generator.

Distributer has automatic timing advance instead of handle bar type.

The former owner stated that he bought the bike from the original owner, /p>

country music superstar Alan Jackson but this has not yet been verified.
