honda XL250 1986 New MOT, Owned for 20 years! appreciating Classic! XR XT

Welcome to the sale of my 1986 Honda XL240 trail bike.

This has been in the family for 20 years and used rarely. I got it from my father a year ago after it had been sat for years. I have had most of it apart. checked and rebuilt it. Including:

New Battery

New fork seals. oil. gators

Rebuild exhaust. done by a pro. welded up. and painted

Carbs apart and cleaned out as the jets were blocked

This was a bit of project of mine. and I now ride it 9 miles to work every day. Starts every morning even when very cold. Wen through the MOT happily. There is about 9 months remaining.

I have two rear wheels. so you can two tyre options. Several gear ratio choices. (Renthal). Renthal bars. and chain. Tyres are in really good shape with over 75% of tread remaining.

This bike has been looked after by a mechanic family. rarely used. its all up together. Its not factory fresh. it has been used off road. however I think it is genuine and I'm an honest guy. its safe to ride as it has to carry me to work.

I'm selling to start a new project.

An ideal bike for all sorts of people. it does a true 68mpg round town. Its really light so ideal for a new rider or for proper trail riding.
